About TechWise Co

TechWise Co is a small, independent site of tech buying guides written by Roger Chacón, founder of Rox Solutions, a software and AI studio in Costa Rica.

Why this site exists

We build websites and AI tools for small businesses, which means a lot of time choosing hardware — for ourselves and for clients — and a lot of time reading spec sheets. TechWise Co is where we write down what we check before recommending something, so you can check it too.

What we test, and what we don't

• We have run SDXL, Whisper and a text-to-speech model daily on our own 12 GB RTX 3080, and we report what happened in our field notes.
• We have not bench-tested most of the products in our guides. Those picks rest on published specifications, compatibility lists, standards and warranty terms — linked on each page.
• We never publish invented reviews, star ratings or testimonials.
